Attorney J. Pierce Senkarik is a seasoned lawyer who is confident and comfortable in the courtroom with years of litigation experience. Having served his country in the United States Army, then served his community as a Prosecutor and Senior Trial Lawyer for the State of Florida, Pierce Senkarik is prepared to serve our clients and handle even the most challenging courtroom situations.
After graduating from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, Pierce was sworn in as an Assistant State Attorney for the 5 th Judicial Circuit in Ocala, prosecuting criminal cases ranging from DUI and assault, all the way to complex fraud and financial crimes. Pierce then worked as a Senior Attorney for the Department of Children and Families in Gainesville, advocating for the most vulnerable in our community and using his trial skills to ensure justice for those who cannot protect themselves. Now as a member of the Harrison team, he is ready to advocate on behalf of individuals that need our support during difficult times. Pierce’s attention to detail, compassion, and analytical mind will ensure that our clients are being properly represented no matter how trying their cases may seem.
Prior to finishing his education, Pierce served his country as an Infantryman in the United States Army, deploying to combat multiple times, and was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds sustained in action. Originally raised in Pensacola, FL, Pierce has traveled the country and the world but has planted firm roots in the Gainesville community.
A proud “Boy Dad”, Pierce has three sons and has been happily married since 2007. His dedication to family and community has always been central to his personality and his legal career. He loves to camp, hunt and hike with his family, looking to take them on many outdoor adventures as possible. When he is not working, Pierce volunteers with local veteran’s organizations and is a Den Leader for his son’s Cub Scout pack.
